Revitalize Western Town
Revitalize Western Town

The Western Town building is the heart of the Ranch!
For decades, laughter has erupted from the dining hall, worship cascaded from the windows of the upper room, and happy camper chatter bustled out the cabin doors.
A whole book couldn’t scratch the surface of all the friendship and discipleship that’s been cultivated between these walls.
Western Town has been well-loved and well-used for summer camps and retreat ministry.

Worn beds, old flooring, inadequate insulation, and undersized heating and plumbing systems could soon jeopardize camper and retreat guests’ experience.
These days, Western Town is showing its wear. In 2024 alone, Western Town was a home away from home for 4350 guest days and 3650 camper days.
Revitalization is critical for the building to continue to be a welcoming space for campers and retreat guests in the years to come.
WITH YOUR SUPPORT WE WILL:
Our bathrooms are the #1 concern in guest and parent feedback, and we’re taking it seriously. Over two years, we’ll fully renovate both wings’ bathrooms—starting with the Boys’ bathroom. This means breaking up concrete, replacing clogged up pipes, improving shower layouts, and upgrading old pink tiles to sleek grey. A fresh, functional space will make it easier for campers to shower and enhance the overall experience for all our guests.
We’re upgrading cabin interiors with new flooring, lighting, and curtains to create bright, welcoming spaces where campers and guests feel at home. These refreshed cabins will provide comfort and warmth, fostering deep friendships and meaningful moments that last a lifetime.
Our bunk beds are aged and mismatched, and our mattresses are due for an upgrade (anybody who has peeled themselves off an old vinyl mattress will know!). Investing in lightweight cedar bunk beds and quality camp mattresses will maximize cabin space while increasing comfort and hospitality. Fresh cedar’s beauty and welcoming scent will ensure campers rest well and wake ready for a fun-filled day at the Ranch!
Our aging propane boiler has surpassed its lifespan, and hard water deposits have reduced our hot water tank’s capacity. Upgrading to a reliable twin boiler system and larger tank will ensure efficient heat and ample hot water, keeping cabins cozy in winter and equipping the Ranch to serve guests for years to come.
Some of our ovens may be originals, and many no longer work—or can’t be repaired due to age. Having already replaced our big convection ovens, we’re now upgrading the next set of ovens and stovetops. These improvements will enhance efficiency and capacity, allowing us to serve larger guest groups with greater ease and excellence.
